Over 2,000 mΒ² of action! 24 different trampolines, a bag jump, a Ninja Warrior climbing zone, a kids' playground and the longest mini go-kart track in western Austria. Perfect for a bad-weather day – for kids, teens and grown-ups alike.

Chairlift πŸ“ in the village

The family-friendly double chairlift right in Marquartstein takes you up to 1,040 m – in summer the starting point for hikes to the Piesenhausener Hochalm mountain pasture, in winter your lift up to the 3.5 km natural toboggan run.

Kampenwandbahn

Cable car πŸ“ Aschau, ~17 km

Take the gondola up the striking Kampenwand (1,669 m) – at the top you'll find easy panoramic trails, mountain pasture huts and views across the whole of Lake Chiemsee. Runs all year round (outside maintenance periods).

From the harbour at Prien/Stock across to the Herreninsel with King Ludwig's fairy-tale palace and to the car-free Fraueninsel. Tickets aren't tied to fixed departures – perfect for relaxed island-hopping with children.

Island-hopping works wonderfully with kids – the Fraueninsel is our favourite.

Kletterwald Prien

⭐ Our tip High-ropes course πŸ“ Prien, ~19 km

The largest high-ropes forest on Lake Chiemsee: 11 courses with over 110 elements up to 14 m high, a continuous belay system and a dedicated children's course – climbing from age 4.

A head for heights for the bigger kids – a fixed part of our summer programme.

Amerang Open-Air Museum
